MORE INFO This workshop offers participants a complete introduction to Touch Drawing with a means to access support later. It is of relevance to artists seeking to deepen their personal expression, therapists, educators, healers and anyone wishing to explore their depths and free their creative energy. Use this process in various therapeutic, wellness, and even hospice settings as well as for your own healing. Neither talent nor skill is needed to implement Touch Drawing, but it can also be developed using this process. In morning and afternoon drawing sessions, you will create two sets of approximately 20 to 30 drawings. Process your own transformative experience through writing and expression and a multi-modal expressive art therapy. Share in a safe a small group atmosphere, integrating what you learn about yourself and the process. Learn to use Touch Drawing as an integrative sensory approach (kinesthetic, tactile, visual) and an expressive language for processing psychological issues. Discover the mechanics of non verbal emotions from a hands on continuous production of drawings that reflect ongoing internal process. Become fluent with the modality which engages the right brain and then integrates with the verbal analysis of the left brain. Gain a better appreciation of your self development and more confidence in your own artistic ability as well as feel empowered to work with your emotional life through creative modalities. BIOGRAPHY Deborah Koff-Chapin |

Deborah Koff-Chapin (B.F.A. Cooper Union) has been developing Touch
Drawing since 1974, and has presented it at conferences and graduate
programs internationally. She is creator of SOULCARDS 1&2 and author of
Drawing Out Your Soul. Deborah is adjunct professor at California
Institute of Integral Studies and has served on the board of the
International Expressive Art Therapy Association.

Touch Drawing as an integrative sensory approach (kinesthetic, tactile,
visual) and an expressive language for processing psychological issues.
Deborah will share how she developed Touch Drawing and refined it as a
therapeutic tool and art form. She will teach via demonstration of the
process, question/answer, and non-invasive directives during the
experiential sessions. Participants in turn will use materials in their
own continuous production of drawings that reflect ongoing internal
